WELLCOME

WELLCOME TO THE ACADEMY AT THE BAROQUE ORGAN OF LA POBLA DE CÉRVOLES

The Academy is addressed to students, professional organists, and musicians in general who wish to get to know, and to deepen their knowledge of the iberian organ and its repertory, and who would also like to find out how to adapt other music to this type of instrument. The baroque organ of La Pobla de Cérvoles (Anton Cases, 1752 / Wilfried Praet, 1999) is ideal for this kind of study. Both its touch and sonority are exquisitly beautiful. It has two manuals, divided between c and c#, short octave.

The climate and quiet atmosphere of La Pobla de Cérvoles make it an ideal place for intense musical study, and also for a pleasant and restful stay.

Maria Nacy
Professor and Artistic Director of the Academia
